Am 11.04.2022 veröffentlichte der Bundesverband der Arzneimittelhersteller (BAH) e.V. ein Positionspapier zu den Herausforderungen im Rahmen der Implementierung der Verordnung (EU) 2017/745 in Hinblick auf die aktuelle Situation. Über 25.000 MDD/AIMDD-Zertifikate werden bis zur Übergangsfrist im Mai 2024 auslaufen bzw. sind bereits ausgelaufen. Dem gegenüber stehen fehlende Benannte Stellen und ein Benennungsverfahren, dass deutlich beschleunigt werden muss.
