Am 25.09.2023 endete die Kommentarmöglichkeit zum Annex XV Report zur Beschränkung von PFAS in der EU. Über 5600 Kommentare wurden eingereicht, ein Großteil davon spricht sich gegen eine generelle Beschränkung von PFAS aus.

Die öffentlichen Kommentare können auf der Seite der ECHA eingesehen werden.

RAC und SEAC bewerten die vorgeschlagene Beschränkung und berücksichtigen die im Rahmen der Konsultation eingegangenen relevanten Informationen. Die Ausschüsse erarbeiten ihre unabhängigen, wissenschaftlichen Stellungnahmen, die in 2024 erwartet und auf der Seite der ECHA veröffentlicht werden.
